Clarissa Navas' beautifully observed coming-of-age story, explores a burgeoning romance between Iris (Sofia Cabrera) and Renata (Ana Carolina Garcia), two young women living in a barrio in the Corrientes province of north-eastern Argentina. Iris' interest in the mysterious, confident Renata is immediate, but navigating this new-found attraction won't be easy... Navas' elicits excellent performances from the young cast, particularly the two leads, and the depictions of close-knit family relationships, friendships and the challenges that come with the approach of adulthood are handled brilliantly.
