Garry Keane and Andrew McConnell's documentary is a stunningly shot, brilliantly constructed, exploration of everyday Gazan life. Paying tribute to the resilience of the region's inhabitants, the film focusses on a number of individuals - teachers, fishermen, musicians, doctors - who call Gaza their home. In doing so the film provides the viewer with a greater understanding of the lives they lead and the everyday challenges they face, offering a humanistic viewpoint on people whose lives are often overshadowed by conflict and the turbulent political landscape of the region in which they live.
