Created by filmmaking collective Anarca Filmes, Usina-Desejo contra a Indústria do Medothe is the group's first interactive film, bringing alternative endings (see Screening Instructions below) for the viewer to choose from. Directed by Amanda Seraphico, Clarissa Ribeiro and Lorran Dias, the film tells the story of Bill and Penélope, filmmakers who live together during a terrible era in a catastrophic Brazil. After a disaster in Cinema and Culture, Bill’s job is under threat. In the midst of a dystopia, among the ruins of the film industry, Penélope introduces him to Usina-Desejo, a channel on YouTube by the tarot reader Oracle. Through mysterious interactivity, Oracle introduces the two friends to a world full of mysteries, excesses and delusions.
