Nicole Wegner's documentary pays homage to the American DIY spirit, and the diversity of the US musical landscape outside the commercial music industry, by portraying 12 American avant-garde and punk-rock musicians, including Alap Momin (Dalek, MRC Riddims), Anna Barie (These Are Powers) and Valentine Falcon (Get Hustle). It is a journey between genres, an essay on free thinking and an intimate look at how artists relate to the potential of music.
