Mind Matters: Pictures of Mental Health
This collection, which features both fiction and non-fiction films, explores issues relating to mental health. Some of the films address these issues overtly, some more subtly. What the they do all have in common, however, is that they each offer a compassionate, empathetic perspective on those coping with mental health conditions both directly and indirectly. Exploring a wide range of issues including addiction, self harm, depression, dementia and anxiety, the collection looks mental health in all its complexity and diversity. These film offer insights into the lives of people for whom dealing with mental health problems is a day-to-day challenge.
