"An entertaining skewering of the hidden global politics in retail trendiness." The Guardian

Denim turns deadly in this satirical tale of a pair of homicidal hip huggers. Slaxx takes place in a supposedly ethically friendly clothing outlet one evening prior to a big product launch. New staff member Libby (Romane Denis) hasn't picked the best evening to start her retail career as unbeknownst to her, and her colleagues, there’s a killer in their midst, and the shop floor turns bloody when the vengeful slacks attack. A knowingly outlandish premise, smart social commentary, inventive effects and no shortage of humour combine to create a highly entertaining horror-comedy from filmmaker Elza Kephart.
