The Belgian filmmaker Manu Bonmariage now has Alzheimer's at age 76. As his memory starts to fade, his daughter Emmanuelle goes back in time to explore the life of this audacious cinema vérité filmmaker for whom the camera was his "lifelong mistress". With his daughter behind the camera, Manu is open, reflective and passionate, as he explores his art, examines his past and comes to terms with what the future may hold. The film also sheds light on a complex, loving, relationship in which a shared love of the camera acts as a bond, and provides an opportunity for this father and daughter to gain a greater understanding of each another.
